Who we are

Built around one idea

The shipper should never have to chase their forwarder for an update. Everything about how King Freight Maritime is organised follows from that.

We operate from Mulund West in Mumbai, working the Nhava Sheva, Mundra and JNPT corridors along with the major air gateways. We handle ocean and air freight, customs clearance, inland transport, warehousing and full door-to-door movements — and we handle the paperwork that sits underneath all of it.

Every file is owned by the coordinator who quoted it. That person books the space, checks the documents, watches the cut-off and answers the phone when you call about it. There is no internal handover where accountability quietly disappears.

How we work

We quote properly

A rate from us states the carrier, the transit, the validity, what is included and — just as importantly — what is excluded. A quote that hides destination charges is not a cheaper quote, it is a later invoice.

We check documents before filing

Invoice, packing list, purchase order and bill of lading get reconciled against each other before anything reaches customs. Nearly every port delay we see traces back to a mismatch that a second pair of eyes would have caught.

We tell you when something goes wrong

Roll-overs happen. Blank sailings happen. Customs raise queries. What should not happen is you finding out because you asked. Milestone updates go out at gate-in, sailing, arrival and clearance, by email or WhatsApp, whichever you actually read.

What we do not do

We do not quote lanes we cannot service properly, and we do not claim certifications we do not hold. If a movement is outside our competence, we will say so and, where we can, point you at someone who does it well. A referral costs us one job; a botched shipment costs the relationship.
